Anyone will say "Hey, driving is easy! Much easier than memorising facts from books." Yea, i also have the same idea at first...
But when i had my first try at the wheels, i get quite panic. The person who is supposed to teach me glared at me and started to fire me with all sorts of driving theory questions.Hey, that's not fair! my friends didn't get the same treatment from their driving sifu. still, i tried to recall a few such as checking the hand break, gear, position of mirror, etc. still, he doesn't want me to get started with the driving practical. That lasted for 15 minutes... Then, there were more drama creeping up... As it was just my 1st time, i drive quite badly.... he kept lashing his tongue out at me, as if i am an expert who had turned into a dumb person for a second... My mental was so tortured, plus my nervousness which was about to explode any minute, i thought of giving up driving lessons at that instant. Worse still, my body ached so much that night, especially my legs, i barely slept.
For the next 5 times everything went on smoothly. The next few sifu were quite nice...
Then, the worst came... the auntie was supposed to teach me how to do the parking... At first i thought she was a nice old woman who will treat me like her grandchild, but never judge a book by its cover... she was lashing at me even when i did a slight error. I get so nervous, and ..... i crashed into the two pole behind the car -_-!" she roared at me like an angry lioness... i had the urge to shout at her saying that" Hey, I'm not paying you to scold me!" still i dare not do that. it's most impolite way to address a frail old one. i keep in my temper. i was quite shaken by her loud voice. such a boisterous one too...
The fees for these driving lessons is so expensive. RM900. and u got 10 times to learn and master all the skills. Well, though others are quick to master driving skills, I'm the slow and dumb learner...needed more time to master the skills. even my cousin commented bout the fees.. during her time, she only need to pay RM300. what a difference that time.
Still, i have my father as a private tutor... at least with more training now, i feel less tension...
Now, I'm waiting for the JPJ department officer to test my skills, in 3 days time... let us see if i can pass it. after being tutored by those money makers...
wish me luck....^^
