Time to collect some leaves..
Time to collect some guts...
Time to buckle the saddles and toughen up against the morning chills...
the nightly socks which pocket the wondering stars...
Saving up better dreams for the howling nights...
the flings of colours flashed in every twig...
fluffy feathers shead....
shakes of reddish strand...
strawing the soft moist surface...
the frost is coming...
time to collect the leaves,
to shelter the colour which won't last forever...
