Out - dated - updates...

posing at the lift at our apartment....

our actual performence on that day it self.... can't spot me because there are 2000 people up that stage at dawn....

Had a snap with trainee teachers from other Institute....

When we were traveling to KL without knowing what sufferings we had to go through just then...

During one of the practice sessions when we were to travel to Dataran Merdeka by bus for half an hour per session (not including the return trips from Dataran Merdeka)....

This is where we had to practice our flashcards...Its the actually location where we have to perform in front of our Prime Minister and other ministers...

Posing with our pom poms that we have to use during the performance...

We formed the "Koir Merdeka"

Our flashcards!!!! Spot these??

Well, actually, this photo was not taken at night... It was taken at 4.30am in the morning... on actually day of Merdeka celebration.... These are our outfits....Batik outfits...Damn hot....

Wow, I did not realise that I have not being updating my blog for such along time already.... These photos were snapped during this year's Merdeka celebration... Every institute from all over Malaysia had to send some representatives to participate in this important event... TESOL-ians in our school were one of the unlucky ones... (that's why we were there for 1 week to be trained...) Sadly, nobody can see our faces as we had to display the flashcards on Merdeka day...It was a very tedious practice....

We were required to wake up at 3 am to go to Dataran Merdeka for the flashcards practice.... There were 3 different practice sections 1 in the morning, afternoon and night respectively....It was really tiring....We endured the challenges that no others had experienced before... Imagine that we were soaked through one afternoon after practice when we had to run 2 km to reach our buses at Padang Merbok as the buses were not allowed to wait for us at Dataran Merdeka...Then we were trapped in the air - conditioned bus for an hour shivering from top to bottom before reaching our apartment.... Most of us were sick after that incident... But still we continued our practice no matter whether it was drizzling, or scorching hot....(mind u there were no shades over our heads).... My skin turned into a very black charcoal skin after ten days of sufferings during the practice...

But still, it would be an experience that I'll never forget for life....
