Because of...

Gulping for fresh air...I couldn't breath...*cough, cough*...I'm choking...X_X

Because of the two recent cases... I was roomless for one and the half hours... Sitting in the classroom talking "sweet nothings"...Lol... Not exactly... Cursing to be exact... That's not a fire though the smoke alarm rang because of it... Large bundles of fog swirled upwards into the hostel's vicinity, threatened to swallow the building...

From afar, dark fog hid the building away from our sight last evening... It looked like Doom's Day... Well, the diesel based chemical vapours suffocated many who stood near it... Not a very good omen...

........

.......

........

.........

The Health Authorities had sent their men down to my campus to do some fogging due to two cases of 'Aedes attack' in block G and H...

After the thick gas turbulence cleared a little, my roomie and I decided to climb up to our room and clean...Actually they were still fogging at that time...we tried in vain to reach our bedroom door but the smell was too overwhelming... We had to retreat... Down the stairs we went again, but the fog was thickening all of a sudden... we couldn't fight it back... rushing down from another staircase, we thought that we could finally get away...yet this was what we saw... we were 'surrounded'.... We stood helplessly in the middle of the towering cement walls... Arrgh....

It was them! doing the fogging for a second time... The officer had said earlier that they had finished their duties and so we were allowed to go up to our respective rooms...but the second fog that choked us was for real... They shouldn't play this sort of prank on us... It might cause us suffering nausea for days if not for our high body resistance...

A lesson is picked up : Never go near a fogging site even after it stopped for 15 minutes... wait longer and patiently... Go missing for a couple more hours before trying to brave the stench of this fog...And never ever leave doors open even though you are asked to for health sake... My room still smells today with the anti-Aedes smog...

Looking spooky...

The fogging activity being carried out...It must be a very high dosage of the chemicals...

Black drops...

I reach out further...
there's a spark in front of me, shimmering...glimmering i would say...
The currents of formless liquid swept me...
A misty bluish wisp hovering just ten feet away from me...
I'm lying in a heap of entangled mush... couldn't move much though...
Looking helplessly and unknowingly of the excitement that is going now around me...
the dancing aurora like mist hovering so gracefully near enough to see but stayed out of my reach...I wondered... I marvelled.... Till black drops fill the sight of mine... darkness arrived...I drifted...

Food...*drooling*...

Just got back my laptop...it's been quite a while since i drop an update here... Went to KL with cousin last week... My cousin's focus was on shopping...They love shopping spree whenever they had taken a leave from their jobs...T-T ...So to ease the torture of walking aimlessly, viewing stylish clothes and other wearable items (which is a favourite pass times for most girls, but not me)...i focused on food... as they scout around hunting for attires, i kept an eye open for 'munchable' snacks...ice creams, herbal eggs, sushi, pancakes, fruit juice, etc... it is not a wonder when i gain more after my return from that trip...lol... I was extremely happy when it was time to have the regular three meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner...
Here are some of the food that i had found quite delicious...yummy...*drool*
this enormous portion of dinner pleased me very much...

green curry spaghetti

uncle's noodles plus chicken chop

cousin's pork chop plus fried rice

my seafood fried rice...

Certain Matters...

When I thought I had completely buried it, it flickers... Giving hope...
Why now? The fire burns when i touch it...
It was supposed to die out on that windy night - a magnificant sight of stars overhead...
I had licked my wounds dry... These have turned numb...

When they are about to harden, heat was generated from within, the cracks deepen, succumbing to the heat, a mere warmth a little warmer than the human body temperature... I feel the pain of the long sealed... the long lost hope, the impossible longing...

Why did it just happened? It ain't supposed to happen... I don't want it to happen..But i couldn't help it... I knew i would bury it over and over again as the fire will lit as soon as it is forgotten, melting down my wounds, burning them deeper than ever, reminding me of the amber that i longed to forget... It's glow haunts... I'm helplessly under it's spell... Or is it my own fantasy and imagination? Perhaps... Because it had never promised the warmth that I had wanted and desired...

An idiot i am... but i will continue to guard the amber... though it might cost my lifetime...
Perhaps one day the amber would be broken down by microbial action or natural erosion, just, maybe it would... someday...

The time interval...

I'm sure those who were going bowling... hmm...not going... were there because of the same reason of playing a game or two of bowling had blogged about the incident this morning...yea, saw it in the post of a few friends linked here...

I could not believe that the roof had gone off just like that. Okay, we were at the scene... 15 minutes after the incident happened...Someone who had arrived earlier had called to tell that our bowling plan was ruined because of the unexpected event... Seriously, we had thought that it was merely a prank done by the caller to frighten us...

After arriving at the scene... It was really an eye opener...the roof looked limped... Steel bars dropped... It was horrible... of course there was a big crowd hanging around to snap shots of it... It happened 10 minutes before we got there... An ambulance had already arrived...but there were no sign of police and other local authorities there yet...

Nee: hey, sending the photo of this scene will surely win us rm50 in The Star newspapers...

Lyn: Too late, the reporters are here...

The stadium which stood majestically for less than a year looked like a tumbledown building... This should be a lesson for future contractors and workers...Do not save on material usage... Saving it means costing yet another disaster, an embarrassment to the country... It has decreased the trust of others and the grassroots...

Thus for Malaysia to be truly Boleh, Start by nurturing human capital who has the correct mentality and good sense in BUILDING up the nation, not solely self interest...
